Waiting For 3

Waiting for Three”

She waits for me to come conscious.
And all that I see are coffee stains.
Take me from this place, I’m virgin.
Give it a new name, call in my surgeon…

To fix what I’ve lost in life.
To give to another’s pride.
To lose all and gain it back,
is all part of the conscious fight.

I’m waiting for number three.
It’s slowly starting to come to me.
I’m waiting for number three.
It’s coming to me.

Sadness is what takes care of the time.
Beauty’s never lost, read between the lines.
Sanctuaries in, the freedom of self.
Circles are drawn in the sand.

Stay a while with him,
Tell me if it’s worth the swim.
I’m sitting in my box,
teaching birds to jump my sox.

I’m waiting for number three.
It’s slowly starting to come to me.
I’m waiting for number three.
It’s coming to me.
I never lose if it seems that way.
The sadness is here to stay.
