“Holding On”
I never, took to heart, what I was doing, last March,
Ties were shrinking, on the bottle clock,
Deep in flooding, the classes we were cutting.
Bars we met, and the friend we kept,
Rented my flesh, for militant control,
Arms 2 and 2, carried the best we had,
The typical, night fad, for the well behaved lad.
Holding On to what is gone
The frame of which tears me down
Holding On still caked in blood
spilling hugs, to everyone
Tears will clean, the place in my heart,
I kept for the bad, I secretly left out,
no longer on the team, but want to try out, my position without depression
My inner most confession.
So now it’s out, I drove my car,
To run away, so fucking far,
Alone at last, but trying to understand, what I’ve become.
And why am I so numb?
Holding On to what is gone
The frame of which tears me down
Holding On still caked in blood
spilling hugs, to everyone
Cause Its got, a hold on me,
It’s got, a hold on me.
Holding On to what is gone
The frame of which tears me down
Holding On still caked in blood
spilling hugs, to everyone.
