Lounging In The Park

”Lounging” 🎨 by Dan Victor •⁠ I painted this is Union Square park. I had noticed a couple of people on the lawn on a nod. Meaning they were on heroin, slumped over in a recognizable manner.⁠

Lounging when there was no work to be relieved from. The relief is from reality. This is the face of one of those folks on the lawn. Something very sad about those addicted to hard drugs like heroin & crack.⁠
