The Best Times of Our Lives Have Not Yet Been Lived

”The Best Times of Our Lives Have Not Yet Been Lived” 🎨 by Dan Victor • mixed media using collage, pencil, watercolor and a fortune cookie. It has a cinema theme.

2 movies are featured. ‘The Sound of Music‘ & ‘Trouble Every Day’. Using a newsprint program from The Kensington Theater. It was an old place showing classics, foreign & independent films, with an enormous screen.

The Sound of Music was so cool to see on the big screen. The songs with the huge speakers were amazing.

Trouble Every Day is a 2001 French erotic horror film directed by Claire Denis and written by Denis and Jean-Pol Fargeau. It stars Vincent Gallo, Tricia Vessey, Béatrice Dalle, Alex Descas and Marilu Marini. The film’s soundtrack is provided by Tindersticks.

The art is about innocence lost, sexuality and how perverted it can turn over time. Time has a way of changing a person. But realizations can be made. So the best days are still to come. Striving to have the faith in that and ride it out.

Once we fall, we recognize an obstacle before it can occur. We can always make changes.
