”In My Head” 🎨 by Dan Victor • Painting and collage, with an image of Christian Bale, as he appears on the cover of “The Machinist” film. It was printed on an ink-jet printer and then added water to the paper, pushing the ink around, similar to water colors you had as a child. Already on the paper. I brought in more acrylic paint to show what is coming out of my brain.
I often describe the pain I feel in my head as ‘fracturing’ to explain the sensation I experience in a psychotic episode. Nothing makes sense, it isn’t a head-ache. But a whole body division of a couple different realities taking up the same space. Much like time travel paradox.
