Fix-It Life Tutorial

“Fixed” ✍🏼 by Dan Victor • Are we ever really complete? I don’t think so. There is an idea that there is some method by which every one of our problems will be solved and life will then be perfect.

I recently discovered that we can never be fixed because it would go against the nature of life. A living thing survives, constantly striving to breath. The worry that comes from being incomplete cancels the flow of growth. The attention is away from the current moment dealing with the here and now, that will ultimately get us to the future state.

The irony is, worry about the future is the exact thing that keeps us from moving forward and stagnating our progress.

This drawing is about getting your vision tested and a pair of glasses that would ‘fix’ your vision. The power to see everything is a ridiculous expectation to place on yourself. It is just not possible to perceive every-fucking-thing!

It doesn’t mean you have to stop trying. It’s not an existential crisis. We still need those glasses to see with the best of our ability.
